Shenzhen General Meditech Inc. Established in 2003 is a national high-tech enterprise focusing on R&D, production and sales of multi-parameter patient monitors. The company is located in China's Silicon Valley: Shenzhen High-tech Industrial Park. The company's products include: conventional patient monitors, special-purpose anesthesia  monitors, fetal maternal monitors and hemodynamics/ICG. The company focuses on the technical research of monitoring medical equipment. At present, the company has more than 100 patents, software copyrights and core confidential technologies; the company's full line of products have passed CFDA registration, EU CE certification, Brazilian ANVISA certification, and Russian GOSTR certification.

The company regards product quality as its main belief, and continues to improve product quality for a long time. The company obtained ISO13485 quality system certification since 2007; has its own EMC testing laboratory and RoHS testing laboratory.

The company focuses on customer needs and comprehensively enhances the company's design, quality, service and reputation with the spirit of craftsmanship, and is committed to building the brand image of GMI. The company considers the intellectual property rights construction as an important mission and has obtained the GB/T29490-2013 intellectual property management system certification; the company has obtained the "Guangdong Medical Monitoring Instrument Engineering Technology Research Center" qualification with its technical strength; the company has been rated as a contract-abiding and trustworthy enterprise by Guangdong Province Government. The company follows the path of transparency, standardization, and healthy development. In 2014, it successfully listed on the NEEQ and became a public company (stock code: 430692).

The company is driven by distributorship which makes brand building as its foundation. With the goal of “Genere products, global sharing”, it has started the process of globalization development. So far, the products have been sold to more than 100 countries and regions. More than 4,000 provincial, municipal, and prefecture-level general hospitals worldwide have used GMI products.
